Therapeutic Farm School Program

Empowering neurodiverse students through nature and animal human connections.

Our mission

Our mission at the Therapeutic Farm School Program is to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where students with neurodiversities can thrive. Rooted in a First Nations perspective and guided by the healing power of the land, we offer an innovative therapeutic support system that integrates experiential learning with a range of therapeutic modalities including Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Play Therapy, ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), and Music Therapy.

Through meaningful interactions with animals and the natural world, our students develop essential life skills and self-regulation strategies that transcend the boundaries of our program, empowering them to succeed in both academic and social settings. We believe in fostering holistic growth, promoting positive mental health outcomes, and nurturing authentic connections with others. Together, we are shaping a brighter future where every individual can realize their full potential.

We respectfully acknowledge that we live, learn, play and grow on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation, Ta'an Kwäch'än Council and Champagne and Aishihik First Nation.
